A rolling stone gathers no moss
People say this to mean that that an ambitious person is more successful than a person not trying to achieve anything.
Example:
Milton: I hardly ever see Charlene any more. She is always traveling to get more business.
Phil: I heard she is doing very well. A rolling stone gathers no moss.
