Ace in the hole
An ace in the hole is something other people are not aware of that can be used to your advantage when the time is right.
Situation: A business negotiation
Johnny: Boss, I think we can finish this merger tomorrow.
The Boss: Why are you so sure?
Johnny: Because I talked to the owber's daughter and she will convince her fagther to sell. She is my ace in the hole.
